Getting to Know Fed Ex

Today is the day we will fill a very large envelope with pages and pages of signed documents and send them away via Fed Ex, along with a large chunk o’ change to get the ball rollin’ on our home study.

I’m pretty excited.

And a little nervous. After all, a frugal chic like me doesn’t often (ever, really) write checks for thousands of dollars and drop ’em in the mail. And, as far as I can tell, there aren’t any coupons available for home studies and dossiers. Trust me; I’ve googled it.

Speaking of coupons (nice segue, yes?), my sweet friend, Laura very generously agreed to help me organize the upcoming couponing class so that I can make sure that I’m sharing information that is the most helpful. She’s on her way out as we speak and I’m so thankful for her support and friendship, especially since we announced our adoption plans. God has been so good to us by placing many wonderful and Godly friends around us. We certainly hope that He’ll provide us with what it takes to be good friends in return.

Proverbs 12:26 “The Godly are cautious in friendship; the wicked lead them astray…”
